Private Expeditions

WE SPECIALIZE IN THE UNIQUE.

The Journey Is Yours. We Just Make It Possible.

There’s something powerful about standing alone in the mountains—with no rush, no crowds, no compromise. At Benegas Brothers Expeditions, we’ve spent over 25 years guiding private clients through the most demanding terrain on Earth, from the high Himalaya to the volcanoes of Ecuador.
But a private expedition isn’t just about a quieter trail or faster summit. It’s about freedom. The freedom to shape your experience. To trust your guide implicitly. To push your limits or protect your margins. It’s about building something truly your own, with a team whose experience is unmatched, and whose attention is undivided.

WHERE YOUR EXPEDITION BEGINS

Every private journey starts with a simple question: What’s your mountain dream?

From that moment on, our process is entirely personal. You’ll speak directly with Willie Benegas, an IFMGA-certified guide with over 30 years of experience and 14 Everest summits. We’ll design the trip together—route, style, pace, team—and then begin building the expedition with absolute precision.

No sales teams. No cookie-cutter itineraries. Just a direct path from vision to execution, supported by a crew that’s lived and breathed mountain logistics across six continents.

Our best private expeditions

A JOURNEY, NOT JUST A TRIP

Let us walk you through what it feels like to take a private trip with us:

You call us with your idea: “Kilimanjaro with my daughter, no crowds. “A technical peak in Ecuador with real instruction. “Everest, but in less than 40 days and no circus. “Aconcagua with a slower pace, better food, and time to acclimatize right.”
We listen. We ask questions you haven’t even thought of. We shape a vision with you—not around what’s easy, but what’s right for you.

Now the magic starts. We design a route and pace that fits your physiology and goals. We pair you with the perfect guide or Sherpa team. We organize permits, flights, porters, gear, food, training—everything.
Whether it’s helicopter-supported acclimatization on Everest (like our 2025 program via Mera Peak), or a full glacier school in Ecuador with personalized lessons every day, we bring decades of global logistics to your feet.

From the moment you arrive, our focus is total.

  • Your guide knows your story, your style, your limits.
  • Your schedule is flexible: we adapt to weather, energy, and opportunity.
  • Your safety is absolute: every system tested, every contingency covered.
  • Your experience is sacred: this is your time in the mountains.

You’re not following the herd. You’re walking your own line—with a handpicked team behind you.

There’s the summit, yes. But also the more resounding win:

  • That quiet moment on the ridge where you feel fully alive
  • That bond with your guide when trust becomes unspoken
  • That clarity that comes from real, earned challenge

This is more than a guided trip. It’s a personal mountain story—and one you’ll never forget.

Unlike large companies that focus on volume, we focus on legacy. Your legacy. Your goal. Your experience.
We’ve led:

  • Solo climbers to success on Everest, Aconcagua, and Denali
  • Families through powerful first-time alpine experiences
  • Film crews to high-altitude locations across Patagonia and Nepal
  • Adaptive athletes to summits that once seemed impossible

Human-Centered Guiding

At BBE, guiding extends beyond the summit. It's about lifelong relationships, teaching, and mentoring. Our clients are family, never just numbers.

Safety First, Always

From route decisions to gear checks to weather calls, our priority is making conservative, informed decisions that keep our teams healthy and safe. We maintain a low guide-to-client ratio (1:2 or better) and work with highly trained IFMGA- and AMGA-certified guides.

Respect for Place

We are deeply committed to environmental stewardship and local partnerships. Whether we’re cleaning trash on Aconcagua, supporting Sherpa communities in Nepal, or promoting Leave No Trace ethics, we honor the mountains and cultures we travel through.

Climber Education

Many of our trips are designed as field schools. Whether you’re training for Everest or taking your first steps on snow, we teach self-sufficiency, technical skills, and decision-making—because a confident climber is a safe climber.

Why Climb With Us?

This is the first item’s accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It’s also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.
